We had a request come to us through Ask IDT, and to accommodate the request, we modified the University Blackboard template.
Our new Blackboard template now has 16 modules instead of 8, and the words in the module banners have been removed, to make it easier for you to rename the module areas if you prefer to call them “weeks,” “units,” or something else.
We also included some instructions to the professor. These can be found in the Announcements area. You will want to delete these instructions once you read them.
Reminder: you can find our various Blackboard templates here. These are files you must download and then upload into your course. Please upload the template AFTER you roll the content you might have from previous semesters into your Blackboard shell. Whatever comes in last will be the formatting Blackboard keeps, so you want the template to be the last thing you do. You will have to reorganize your class once the template is in place. If you need any help/training at all, please consult our on-demand, faculty training videos here.
